MEET THE TEAM

kat bw (2).png

Welcome, I am Kat Seeman from Berkshire, owner and founder of Southern Equine Sheath Cleaning.

With nearly 35 years experience riding, owning and working with horses, I established SESC in 2017, after discovering a niche in the market.

I was trained by a vet many years ago to sheath clean my own horses, due to having a gelding with sheath issues. This helped me gain a wealth of knowledge and experience in the sheath area and a particular interest; which then later paved the way for me to create a business and that’s when SESC was born.

Today, we operate in a vast area across the south of England (mainly central and western) and have added some team members as we organically grow.

What we offer:

✅Fully registered business (ref no 11143306).

✅Fully insured.

✅Operating as a limited business.

✅Established since 2017.

✅Knowledgeable and experienced equestrians.

✅Works alongside vets, osteopaths, dentists and saddle fitters to eliminate issues.

Achievements:

📌 Published article in Your Horse Magazine and on “ask the experts” panel, in 2019 and 2021.

📌Successfully referred many clients to vets after discovering abnormalities within the sheath and been part of the journey through and after surgery.

📌Launched our own sheath barrier balm product in 2022, after listening to my customers struggles with flies, swallowing sheaths and fly strike through the summer months.

📌5 star ⭐️ rated business with outstanding reviews from customers.

📌80% customer retention.

TESTIMONIALS

Our first time using Kat and she was amazing - so kind, gentle and calm. We weren’t sure how 2 of our new horses were going to react but it was a walk in the park - Kat went very slowly with them to give them a good experience. Totally recommend

Pauline Norris

Kat came out to see both my boys this morning and give them a good clean!! She extracted a large bean from one them so it’s great to know that he’ll be a lot more comfortable now. Kat was great with the horses too and they soon relaxed and carried on munching their hay whilst she got in with the job. A very good professional job which I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Heather Richardson

Kat is fab! Kind, considerate to both horse and human! Brilliant service, fab with my horse - he is a gent but he is treated exactly how I treat him! Highly recommend this service - George (horse) always enjoys his Sheath Clean

Kat is knowledgeable and always does an excellent job!

Sandra Croxall

Professional and friendly service! Kat was great with the horses and took time to explain anything or answer questions. Would 100% recommended.

Charlotte Lane

Super professional, Kat really took her time to ensure my horse was settled. Super service, very impressed. Had no idea what my horse would think or how he would behave, Kat was just brilliant! Highly recommend
